“IN THE BEGINNING”
There have been many great Brothers to serve and initiate innovative ideas for the benefit of the Masonic family. Included in those stalwarts were Richard Stewart and William M. Davis. They felt that an institution should be established to observe incoming membership, foster the interest of the Masonic family, protect the purity of our organizational values, diffuse our principles, and to cultivate a more intimate relationship between the members of our organization. Thus emerged the Stewart-Davis Trowel Club which was established in 1924. Our scholarship drive renamed the “BOBBY R. CREDLE Scholarship Award,” is conducted annually and 100% of all proceeds are allocated to providing deserving youths financial assistance to offset some of the fees and costs associated with attending college. When you give from the heart, it accomplishes two things…. First, it helps those who receive your needed donations and secondly, by supporting our youth, it builds better, brighter, and stronger communities.
“There could be no greater tribute. than to strive to strengthen and continue the dreams conceived. by those who preceded us. Every member of the Stewart-Davis Trowel Club is encouraged to liberally contribute to the Scholarship Fund and every Brother is encouraged to join and actively support and participate in the activities of the… STEWART-DAVIS TROWEL CLUB”
